When we first got the chickens I hoped, but didn’t really believe, that we could achieve chicken and dog harmony. I thought that we would probably have to keep the chickens cooped up (excuse the pun), but it seems that the dogs have actually got the message and the chickens and dogs now get on really well. Sometimes, if they are all out in the garden and one of us arrives home we are greeted with 2 dogs and 3 chickens all running to the car. It’s quite a funny sight!
Both the dogs and the chickens seem to love drinking water dripping from a tap much more than they like to drink it from their water bowls. This is a sweet video from earlier today of Cocoa and one of the chickens both trying to catch the same drips from the tap. Also, watching chickens drink from a tap is really funny in itself…
